10 years in business for Swansea estate agency started by couple

Ben and Daisy Davies, Belvoir

Swansea-based estate agent, Belvoir, is celebrating 10 years of finding the perfect home for Swansea Bay residents.

The multi award-winning sales and lettings property firm was established by Ben and Daisy Davies as a husband and wife team in 2010 with an office in Swansea’s Castle Street. It expanded into Mumbles in 2015 and then into Sketty earlier this year. Just last month the company moved its Swansea office into new premises in Swansea Marina. The firm now boasts 20 staff across its three branches.

Daisy says: “We are extremely proud to be celebrating a decade of successful years of business in Swansea. During the past ten years we have found homes for thousands of people across Swansea – an area we have both grown up in and are passionate about. We would like to say a massive thank you to our amazing, hardworking and loyal team and to all our wonderful clients over the past 10 years, we wouldn’t be where we are today without you. Here’s to the next 10 years!”

During its 10 years in business, Belvoir has become one of the most award-winning estate agents in South Wales, having picked up eight highly prestigious national property awards. It was most recently awarded Gold in this year’s British Property Awards for Lettings 2020 for the third year running.

Ben Davies said: “The business and property landscape has, in recent months, seen some testing times, but we’re delighted to see Belvoir growing and thriving and we have exciting plans for the future, having branched out into property sales over recent years. This side of our business is thriving, and I know our clients appreciate the in-depth local knowledge and the attention to detail that our team members bring to their roles.

“Buying or selling property, or letting or renting a home, is so much more than a transaction. Property is personal to us and we understand that these transactions are actually personal decisions. The property market in Swansea is bouncing back from the impact of Covid-19, with buyers looking to upsize now that home-working looks set to be an enduring trend. We have also seen the furlough extension and mortgage deferral schemes helping to keep the property sector buoyant, along with positive changes in the Land Transaction Tax here in wales. We are looking forward to a bright future ahead for property and for Belvoir in Swansea.”

Belvoir Swansea is locally owned, but part of a national network, and it specialises in sales and lettings in the professional and corporate rental market across Swansea, Mumbles and Gower.
