Following the huge success of the 30th anniversary live shows earlier this year, The Fast Show – “The defining comedy sketch show of the Nineties” The Independent – is going back on tour in 2025, playing 15 shows across the country including two nights at the iconic London Palladium.
An Evening with The Fast Show will see co-creators Charlie Higson and Paul Whitehouse reunite with Simon Day, John Thomson, Arabella Weir and Mark Williams. Tickets will go on sale at 10.00am on Thursday 21 November from TheFastShow.live.
This celebratory UK tour will be a huge treat for fans of the multi-award-winning quick-fire TV sketch show and provide a real behind-the-scenes insight into some of their favourite characters and catchphrases as they come alive on stage once again.
The cast will chat together about how it all began, how they made the TV show, and created the characters and the fun they had doing it. This will be interspersed with performances of some of their best-loved sketches, monologues and songs, with on-screen inserts and a moment to remember their former collaborator, the late, great Caroline Aherne.
Fans will be thrilled to see the return of many of their favourite characters, including: Ted & Ralph, Jesse, Swiss Toni, Does My Bum Look Big In This?, Dave Angel, Jazz Club, The Suit You Tailors, Ron Manager, The Mad Painter, Rowley Birkin, Bob Fleming, Competitive Dad, Professor Denzil Dexter, and The Girl Who Boys Can’t Hear.
Charlie Higson said: “The Fast Show was all about repetition, catchphrases and familiar characters. So we’re going to repeat our last tour with the same catchphrases and characters. Hopefully audiences will believe it’s all new material.”
Paul Whitehouse said: “The Fast Show back on tour again, sir? Oooooh – suit you, madam!”
The Fast Show first aired on BBC2 on 27 September 1994 and became one of the nation’s best-loved comedy shows, having a huge influence on subsequent TV sketch shows. Oooooh, Suit You. No Offence! Niiiiiiiiiice! Brilliant!! Scorchio!!!
The Cardiff date has been announced, 23rd November 2025 at Wales Millennium Centre.
