Crumlin-based Lexon has confirmed its position as a European market leader with a £2million investment in new equipment during the last 12 months.
As part of this investment, the company has recently taken delivery of Europe’s first Komori B2 Digital Inkjet press – allowing more options for printing shorter run, personalised and variable work.
This follows the earlier installation of Wales’ first Highcon Digital laser cutter.
Leaders in the latest print technology – producing the industry’s highest quality print with digital inkjet technology – Lexon prides itself on creating and implementing integrated print solutions; from commercial print & packaging to point of sale.
With high profile clients including Ikea, Jo Jo Maman Bébé and Folly Farm, the company employs 70 staff at its Crumlin headquarters.
Speaking about these latest developments, Lexon Commercial Director Dominic Hartley said:
“As a company, we have a proven track record of building strong and lasting relationships with both national and international clients and to an extent have remained one of Wales’ best kept secrets. We feel the time is right to start being a bit more vocal in Wales itself and maximise potential for growth within a regional client base.
“Our aim is very much to continue to develop Lexon Group with market leading new technologies and continued investment – both in top of the range kit, and in our workforce – is key to this.
“We’re pushing new boundaries with the services we can now offer and are in a great position to maximise on our reputation as a local company with a truly international reach.”
