New office centre opens at Avana Business Park, Newport

The Rombourne Group is providing office space with flexible short-term leases at a new Business Centre it has created at its Avana Business Park in Rogerstone, Newport.

[aoa id=”1″]The Cardiff-based specialist business accommodation provider has invested in refurbishing 10,500 sq ft of office space at the site to provide a series of high-quality office suites within a secure managed environment.  Each fully furnished office suite will be available on a flexible occupancy basis at an ‘all-inclusive’ rate from as little as £75 per week for a two-person office.  Internet provision is also available for a small charge.[/aoa]

Rombourne acquired the nine-acre Avana site last year and is investing £750,000 in refurbishing it to create 150,000 sq ft of multiple industrial units and offices for rent within the buildings formerly used by the bakery, which closed in January 2017.

Steve Myers, estates manager of Rombourne, said: “The refurbished offices provide ideal accommodation for small and growing businesses that want a professional office base with good IT links on flexible terms.

“We have identified a shortage of good quality affordable workspace, and with our experience of the serviced office market, we are able to provide this accommodation on flexible terms that will suit business occupiers in the locality.”

Cushman & Wakefield and DLP Surveyors have been appointed as joint agents to market the Avana Business Park. Michael Bruce of DLP Surveyors said: “Rombourne has an excellent track record at its other estates of creating quality, modern, flexible and affordable accommodation suitable for a wide range of businesses.”

Evan Whitson of Cushman & Wakefield added: “The Avana site will suit local businesses that do not want to have to travel into Cardiff or Newport to find the offices they need.”

Avana Business Park is situated on the established Wern Trading Estate in Rogerstone, with a strategic commercial location two miles north of junction 28 of the M4 motorway and with fast access via the A467 dual-link road. A £13.7 million Welsh Government scheme to upgrade access to Junction 28 was recently completed.
