    Marvel’s Avengers S.T.A.T.I.O.N. arrives in Cardiff

    After an overwhelming response from fans in London, Marvel’s Avengers S.T.A.T.I.O.N. has opened in Cardiff (June 22nd) at St David’s Shopping Centre.

    The exhibition runs until Monday, September 9,  and will be the first time the experience has been open in the UK outside of London.

    This highly anticipated multi-room exhibition offers fans of all ages the opportunity to delve into the super-workings and backstory of each member of The Avengers as they train to become an agent of the S.T.A.T.I.O.N.

    S.T.A.T.I.O.N. is an acronym for Science Training and Tactical Intelligence Operative Network, and is where guests can step inside the popular films and become part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, whether trying to lift Thor’s Hammer or taking a sneak peek at Bruce Banner’s Lab.

    Marvel at all the props and costumes from the film

    From the Avengers to Villains the Station is filled with props and costumes from all your favourite superheroes, including a huge hulk buster armour and Captain America’s mighty shield. All the props are from the actual films so any film buffs are sure to be impressed.
    Thor’s uniform

    The Thor Observatory – dedicated to Thor Odinson, King of Asgard and son of Odin. Test your worthiness by attempting to lift a simulation of Thor’s Hammer, Mjölnir, view Thor’s outfits and study the universe and its current parameters using NASA’s EYE on the exoplanets program.

    Captain America’s Shield

    Check out Captain America’s personnel file and explore the cutting-edge science that made Steve Rogers into Captain America.

    Hulk Buster Armour

    Iron Man Engineering Bay – trainee agents have the chance to not only view Iron Man’s iconic suits but also play a virtual experience wearing Hulkbuster Armour!

    AI is a huge part of the station, allowing you to become Iron man as you suit up ready for battle and fight off on coming enemies. There are also many interactive games and sections where you can learn more about the films and its characters.

    Ever wondered what Bruce Banner’s Lab looks like? Explore the Bio Lab transformation of Dr. Banner’s superior brain as he morphs into Hulk.

    The whole experience was extremely immersive and a definite must if you are a fan of the films. At the end of the experience you get to choose an Avenger and face off against Ultron as a team so make sure to being your best team with you. 
    Also, keeping up with the ever-expanding Marvel Cinematic Universe, Cardiff’s Marvel’s Avengers S.T.A.T.I.O.N. exhibition includes new character displays on Black Panther and The Wasp.
    The exhibition has provided a super-powered dose of science and technology by NASA to enhance the authenticity of the experience and pique visitors’ interest in real-world science and technology.
    With comprehensive educational materials available for teachers, plus supporting materials created by Quantum Victoria, it is a thrilling learning experience for high school children to follow STEM pathways by amplifying the scientific themes and characters that are core to Marvel’s storytelling.
    Steven Madeley, General Manager for St David’s Cardiff said:

    “We are so excited to be bringing the Avengers S.T.A.T.I.O.N. to Wales. Choosing St David’s as the first UK location for the exhibition outside London puts Cardiff on the map alongside iconic cities across the world that have enjoyed it so far, including Las Vegas, Paris and New York. The Avengers S.T.A.T.I.O.N. will be in St David’s throughout the summer, providing the perfect activity to entertain the family and Marvel fans from June, right throughout the summer months and into September!”

    Marvel’s Avengers S.T.A.T.I.O.N. debuts a huge collection of Avengers movie-based props and interactive technology for a strictly limited time at Cardiff’s St. David’s Centre.

    There will also be the opportunity to purchase Marvel’s Avengers merchandise available for those with and without a ticket.
