Swansea-based integrated communications agency, MGB Communications, has announced a trio of new appointments following an exceptionally busy period for the firm.

Award-winning marketeer Louisa Harry-Thomas joins as Marketing Account Manager responsible for delivering integrated marketing strategies across the MGB client base. She brings with her over 20 years of experience in marketing across the UK.

Stavros Apostolopoulos, who holds two Masters – in Filmmaking and Communications, Media Practice and Public Relations – takes up the role of videographer and digital content creation specialist. Rhi Smith joins as Account Executive supporting the team’s digital activity across the entire client portfolio. As well as being an avid marketing communicator, Rhi is also committed to raising awareness of sustainable business practices and is a Trustee of The Environment Centre in Swansea.

MGB Communications was established in 1998 and is one of the most awarded communications agencies in Wales. Clients have ranged from national organisations such as UK Government, Welsh Government, Sainsbury’s and DVLA to local and regional organisations and businesses such as Ospreys Rugby, Swansea Council, University of Wales Trinity Saint David, Sancta Maria Hospital and JCP Solicitors.

Managing Director, Natasha Fulford, said: “Louisa, Stavros and Rhi join us at a great time, as we celebrate one of our most successful years to date. Winning more integrated accounts, which combine digital, marketing, design and PR, has been a key growth area for us over the last few years and we’re now in an even stronger position to meet the demands of what is a constantly changing sector.

“Our trio of new ‘MGBers’ have hit the ground running and our clients are already seeing the benefits of their combined expertise. We’ve had an exceptionally busy period with new private and public sector client wins over the last few months and we’re looking forward to going into our 22nd year in business in 2020 with an even bigger team to support the continued growth of the agency.”
