Following an exceptional year of new branches and national awards, Acorn, one of the UK’s leading specialist recruitment agencies, has kick started 2018 with a crucial new appointment to their Accounting and Finance Division.

Libby Morgan will be Acorn’s Lead Consultant within the Accounting and Finance team, responsible for recruiting for permanent roles within this thriving industry.

Having previously spent nine years working in this specialist sector, as well as working within recruitment in the public sector, Libby is well placed to recognise the qualities needed for financial roles across a variety of different levels.

Speaking about her new role, Libby said: “It is a privilege to lead Acorn’s specialist Accounting and Finance Division. One of the biggest problems in the industry is finding and retaining good, accounting professionals and with Acorn’s knowledge and experience, I know that we can help employers find the people they need for long-term success.

Jan Hughes, Director for Acorn’s Accounting & Finance Recruitment Division, said: “We are thrilled to have Libby join our team, and having worked with her previously I know she will make a huge difference to our customers through her professional and honest recruitment approach. With her industry specific knowledge and experience she is the ‘go-to’ recruiter for anyone looking for work or people in the Accounting and Finance industry. Here at Acorn, it is important that all our recruitment consultants can truly understand our clients and candidates’ needs, and we are confident Libby will do an excellent job.”

Established in 1992, Acorn has 38 branches and on-site locations across the UK and recently won Recruiter of the Year, and Permanent Recruiter of the Year at the national IRP recruitment awards. They provide specialist permanent, contract and temporary recruitment support within a number of sectors in addition to Accounts & Finance, including IT & Digital, Commercial, Legal, Construction & M&E, Technical & Engineering, Nursing & Healthcare and Driving & Logistics.   They also provide an Executive Search service to find and place senior professionals and board members and through their Global Division, Acorn Global Recruitment, they offer international recruitment support.
