A host of beautiful models will descend on the City Centre on Sunday, 17 June, when the Swansea Classic Vehicle Show rolls in.
Organised by Swansea BID (Business Improvement District), the gathering of well-loved classic cars, bikes, scooters and other gems, picks up where the popular Festival of Transport left off, with that event coming to the end of the road in 2016.
Enthusiasts and their motors will gather in the City Centre from 10.30am to 4pm, for the family-friendly event – one of the most photographable attractions of the season.
Paul Whittaker from Swansea BID’s Events Team, said:
“We are very pleased to be organising the Swansea Classic Vehicle Show, right in the heart of the City Centre. The original Festival of Transport regularly attracted more than 4,000 visitors to the area, so we were keen to keep this show on the road, since it will do so much to rev up footfall in the City Centre. It is great that the event falls on Fathers Day – what a lovely event to take dad to as a family treat.”
During the event, vehicles will be displayed from Castle Square along Princess Way, Union Street, Portland Street and Oxford Street. Free car parking is available in all City Centre car parks.
