On the 6thJune 2018, the eleventh annual South Wales Business Awards were held. The awards were once again hosted by one of Welsh television and radio’s most popular presenters – Sara Edwards.
The awards have been developed and launched by WS Marketing and are proudly in association with Cardiff Now Magazine, Swansea Building Society, Hospital Innovations, Print INC & Embroidery and Cowbridge Business Club.
Since 2008, the number and standard of applications has increased each year. However, 2018 has broken all records for applications. South Wales has always been a vibrant hub of entrepreneurship. The progress the economy is making is truly breath taking.
On a beautiful summers evening at the Bear Hotel in Cowbridge, the winners for the South Wales Business Awards 2018 were:
- Young Entrepreneur of the Year – Sarah Niblblet & James Eaton – Mt Bistro
- New Start-up of the Year – Royal Educare
- Retail & Tourism Business of the Year – The Good Wash Company
- Business Services Business of the Year – Trojan
- Female Entrepreneur of the Year – Dawn Evans – Ajuda Training Academy
- Technological & Innovative Business of the Year – Comgem
- South Wales Business of the Year 2018 – Dawn Evans – Ajuda Training Academy
Founder of the South Wales Business Awards – Wesley Skene said:
