Acclaimed artist Corrie Chiswell’s latest solo show, ‘Dream of Flight’ is at the Off The Wall Gallery in Llandaff, Cardiff until 23 October.

“I’m very excited about this show, as several larger pieces haven’t been exhibited before. It’s the culmination of years of work, with more than fifty paintings and drawings on display.”

All are welcome to the free exhibition in the Old Probate Registry in Llandaff village, where the gallery will be filled with a rich mix of large and small works.
The artist, born in Scotland and Cardiff-based for over twenty years, has created a magical range of portraits and landscapes.

Chiswell’s themes include the Highland clearances, folklore, classical mythology, war and our impact on a fragile planet, with tough themes beautifully rendered.
Her inspirations for her spiritual flights include literature, mythology, historical events and song.
Her portraits channel angels, selkies, sirens and characters from fairytales, while her atmospheric landscapes include several views of Roath Park in Cardiff.
The exhibition is open to the public from Tuesday to Friday 09:30-17:30, Saturday 10:00-16.00, and runs until October 23
