The event will see runners flood Cardiff Bay and take in all of its most iconic landmarks- starting and finishing in Roald Dahl Plass and passing the Wales Millennium Centre, Mermaid Quay, the Pierhead Building, Senedd, Porth Teigr and the Cardiff Bay Barrage. The Family Fun Run will begin at Roald Dahl Plass at 10am, followed by the 10K race at 11am.
For customers travelling to the Bay on Sunday, Cardiff Bus is alerting people to route alterations, including alternative bus stops for two services to accommodate road closures.
Bute Place, Britannia Quay, Harbour Drive, Lloyd George Avenue, Porth Teigr Way, Cargo Road, Locks Road all set to close and buses will divert from 6am until 13.30pm.
During these times the Baycar, will run between the city centre and County Hall only, not serving the Wales Millennium Centre, and will divert between Callaghan Square and County Hall via Tyndall Street and Schooner Way.

Service 8 will follow its normal route to Mermaid Quay where it will then run directly to the city centre via Dumballs Road, not serving County Hall, Britannia Quay or the Wales Millennium Centre.
Information regarding the diversions can be found on the Cardiff Bus website at www.cardiffbus.com or on their Facebook and Twitter feeds.
Commercial Manager Gareth Stevens said they were planning to keep disruption to a minimum during the event.
He said: “The baycar and service 8 will divert due to road closures for the event. We’ve tried to keep disruptions to a minimum, however buses will not be able to serve some Cardiff Bay bus stops until 1.30pm. We urge anyone travelling by bus on the day to check our diversion page online, as routes will change for the event.
“All the information can be found via our website www.cardiffbus.com and our social media channels will also be providing full updates. We wish all the runners the best of luck.”
