Canolfan Yr Atom in Carmarthen has welcomed a new tenant to its premises recently.
Affinity Financial is the latest company to become tenants in Yr Atom. As well as being a location to hold activities for all ages, and Welsh lessons as part of the provision of the National Centre for Learning Welsh in Carmarthen town, Yr Atom is also home to a number of organisations and community groups, such as Menter Gorllewin Sir Gâr, Menter a Busnes, Cylch Meithrin Myrddin and Merched y Wawr. Caffi’r Atom is also being run by Alfie’s Coffee, who have won several prizes for their coffee. A number of local businesses are also now tenants in the centre such as Evans Bros Estate Agents on King Street.
Affinity Financial is a company that provides independent financial Advice and it was established back in December 2021. 3 people work for the company, and they have clients across Wales, as well as an office in Cardiff.
Rhys Young, Head of Affinity Financial, said that he had moved his office to Yr Atom,
“as it is in a convenient location and in the middle of Carmarthen town. Everything is available here, and it is good to be able to work in a place where the atmosphere is great. The size of the room was ideal for what I was seeking as an office.”
Rhys added:
“It is our hope in the next few months to cooperate with the other tenants in Yr Atom, and to make the most of the use of the building.”
Caryl Jones, Manager of Yr Atom, noted:
“It is a pleasure to welcome Rhys and his company Affinity Financial here to Yr Atom. Our rooms for tenants are now full and it is great to have a variety of companies and organisations here in Yr Atom. It is good to have the tenants here from day to day, it adds to the activity in the Centre and it is a pleasure to have the opportunity to collaborate with the tenants. I look forward to continuing to collaborate during the year, and I would like to wish them every success during 2023.”
