Credas, the Cardiff-based business that has developed ground-breaking facial recognition software to speed up identity verification across a range of sectors, celebrates its first year in business.

In its first year, the company has made a number of significant achievements, including:

Starting with two employees, the team now has 14 staff behind it and is currently recruiting for Technical Account Management and Sales roles.
It has over 50 customers using all or part of its facial recognition and identity verification technology across the estate agency, accountancy, legal, recruitment, and construction sectors.
It has also secured its first cryptocurrency client, heralding a move into another new sector.
It has formed partnerships the ESTAS (The Estate Agent of the Year Awards) and The Guild of Property Professionals, as well as securing a place on the shortlist for the Wales Technology (Estnet) Awards – Sir Michael Moritz Start-up of the Year and Innovative Product of the Year categories.
This month, Credas has been shortlisted in three categories for the Wales Online Digital Awards – Best Mobile App, Best Digital Start-Up and Best Merging Technology categories.
