Craig Hampton-Stone has been appointed as the new Managing Director of Cardiff Bus, taking over from Paul Dyer who retires at the end of September.
Craig originates from South Wales, and for the last two years has worked in the construction and consultancy industry for Mace Group on a variety of infrastructure and public sector programmes. Prior to that Craig enjoyed a varied career over 26 years in the military which culminated with him leading one of the largest Logistic Regiments in the British Army.
He said: “It’s a real honour for me to be taking up this appointment. It’s clear that Paul and the team have done a tremendous job in developing the company, particularly on a pathway towards a greener and more sustainable fleet and I look forward to keeping that momentum going.”

Chris Lay, Chair of the Board at Cardiff Bus said: “I would like to thank Paul Dyer for his successful leadership of the company over the last 4 years and wish him all the best in his retirement”.
