Cardiff Bus customers are being advised of service changes which are set to come into effect from 5 September 2021.
The operator is set to improve timetables across its network which will affect many routes and Cardiff Bus urges customers to check their website for full information.
Route changes will also be introduced on services 13 and 52 along with some school routes, and service 95 will serve the bus stops within Llandough Hospital grounds from this date.
In addition, two new routes have been introduced by the operator. Service 5 will replace part of the 13 route and will run between the city centre and the Sports Village Monday to Saturday. Service 7 will replace services 9C and 95A. It will run on an hourly basis Monday to Saturday from the city centre to Penarth via Channel View, Ferry Road, Sports Village, Llandough Hospital, Redlands Road and Stanwell Road.
The X59 service is also being extended to Cardiff Gate Business Park Monday to Friday via St Edeyrns, offering a direct service to the business park for St Edeyrns residents.
Gareth Stevens, Commercial Director at Cardiff Bus said: “We are set to introduce a number of timetable and route improvements which will benefit customers across our network.
“We continuously monitor our network to make sure our timetables are reliable and financially sustainable.
“With more customers returning to bus travel we’re increasing the frequency of our services and reintroducing more evening journeys so that customers can enjoy Cardiff’s events and hospitality again.
“We would encourage all our customers to check revised timetable and route details before travelling, as they will be subject to change from 5 September 2021.”
