Dudley’s is teaming up with ISG plc after securing the contract worth almost £1million earlier this year. The fabricator will install both Kawneer standard and fire-capped curtain walling, windows and doors, as well as state-of-the-art sliding doors for the entrances.

The 85,000 sq. ft. building will be home to over 1,200 professional learners, undergraduates and postgraduate students as well as university staff. The School of Architecture and the Built Environment (SOABE) is a new teaching and learning facility that will cater for the needs and activities of all students, researchers and professionals at the university.

Speaking about the new project, Colin Shorney, Managing Director of Dudley’s said: “We are delighted to work on another project with ISG plc. It continues our already extensive commitment to creating high-quality facilities that will benefit students, researchers and staff in Higher Education.”

Over the years, the Welsh fabricator has become renowned for projects within the education industry. The fabricator recently completed work on Cambridge University’s Babraham Research & Development Campus and is currently working on student accommodation in Exeter.

Dudley’s reputation for quality has been recognised with several industry-related accreditations. The company is CHAS and Achilles accredited, Constructionline registered and certified to manufacture “Secured by Design” products.
