Christmas carols return to St Giles Wrexham for charity concert

St Giles Parish Church, Wrexham

A magical evening of classic Christmas carols and festivities will be held at St Giles Parish Church, Wrexham in aid of Nightingale House Hospice.

Sponsored by DTCC, the event on Saturday 3rd December will feature Aled Wyn Davies, Rhos Male Voice Choir and The Wrexham Salvation Army Band.

Tickets cost £18 (no concessions) and include a glass of fizz, or soft drink and a mince pie. Hot drinks will also be on sale during the interval together with a small selection of Hospice Christmas merchandise.

A raffle will also be held to raise extra funds for patient care and family support services, with some brilliant prizes to be won.

With only a limited number of tickets available, early booking is advised.

Dan Groombridge from DTCC said: “We are delighted to be sponsoring such a fun and family inclusive event. DTCC’s association with Nightingale House has been on-going for many years and we are proud to be associated with an organisation that continues to fundraise in these challenging times.”

Hospice fundraiser, Sam Amis said: “I am so pleased to see our annual Christmas Concert back on our fund-raising calendar after a break due to the pandemic, it really is the most magical evening and the perfect event to get into the Christmas spirit! Doors open at 6:30pm, and the concert begins promptly at 7:30pm.”

Tickets are available from the hospice web site on www.nightingalehouse.co.uk           or by calling the fundraising team on 01978 314292.
