Rusty – a gorgeous six-year-old Staffordshire bull terrier – arrived at RSPCA Bryn-Y-Maen Animal Centre back in June but he entered into RSPCA care back in April.

RSPCA animal centre manager Victoria Williams said: “Rusty is such a sweetheart – but unfortunately he has struggled adjusting to kennel life.
“At the moment he spends his time residing in the office, keeping a watchful eye on the staff at the centre. Rusty loves sleeping and can often be heard snoring in the office! We just love him – but we’d love nothing more to find a forever home for him.
“We are looking for a home where he will be taken on lots of fun and interesting walks. When out and about in the sunshine he loves to roll around in the grass.

“He ideally needs a home where someone is around most of the day as he loves to have company. He could also potentially share his new home with another dog and children pending good introductions here at the centre.
“Rusty is such an affectionate boy and would love nothing more than cuddling up for some fuss. He is also such a bright boy who is always eager to please, so he would also enjoy learning some new tricks through some fun and positive training.”
If you are interested in meeting Rusty please head down to the RSPCA Bryn-Y-Maen centre at Upper Colwyn Bay (LL28 5EJ) – open between 11am-4pm every day except Wednesday.
Based in Upper Colwyn Bay, the centre provides specialist care for domestic and farm animals, and staff also provide support to injured wildlife.
The centre can be contacted on 0300 123 0745, and all dogs, cats, and other companion animals, available for adoption can be found online.
