Craig Bellamy’s Cymru will face Canada at the Swansea.com Stadium and England in Wembley Stadium, completing the international schedule for 2025.
The match against Canada on Tuesday 9 September (KO 7:45pm) marks a return to Swansea for the team, having last played there in November 2020 in a goalless draw against the USA during the COVID-19 pandemic. The last match with a crowd at the Swansea.com Stadium was in March 2013 against Croatia, in a match featuring current Head Coach Craig Bellamy.
Cymru’s last match against Canada was a 1-0 win in Wrexham in in May 2004, and the upcoming match will be the fourth time the sides will face each other.
England will be familiar foes for Cymru, having recently faced them at the 2022 FIFA World Cup finals, a friendly match during the COVID-19 pandemic, and the UEFA EURO 2016 finals. Cymru last played in front of a crowd in Wembley Stadium was under Gary Speed in September 2011, with a narrow 1-0 loss in the UEFA EURO 2012 qualifying round match. The match will take place on Thursday 9 October (KO 7:45pm).
The matches complete the Men’s National Team calendar for 2025, where Cymru will be competing in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying round. The campaign starts on Saturday 22 March against Kazakhstan at the Cardiff City Stadium, with tickets now on general sale.
