Newport Food Festival has announced that celebrity chef, Cyrus Todiwala OBE, DL, will be taking part in the chef demonstration programme on Saturday 13 October.
Cyrus is an Indian chef proprietor of Café Spice Namasté, which has won Michelin awards for 23 consecutive years. In 2012 Cyrus was also honoured to cook the Diamond Jubilee Luncheon for the late Queen, Elizabeth II.

He is also a TV chef and is a regular on the BBC programme Saturday Kitchen as well as ITV show James Martin’s Saturday Morning. With his friend and fellow chef, Tony Singh, Cyrus hosted the BBC show The Incredible Spicemen and a TV series on the Discovery Channel, The Galleons of Spice.

Cyrus will be hosting a chef demonstration in Newport Market at 1pm and will also be taking part in the judging of the Teenchef competition at midday.
