Cardiff’s most-anticipated nightclub will open its doors to the public for the first time at 10pm on Friday September 13th, after an impressive £750,000 refurbishment of the former site of GLAM Nightclub and Barley & Rye, on Greyfriars Road.

Housing 5 bars, 2 clubrooms, a VIP area and a lounge – as well as boasting a unique rooftop terrace with an island shack – STORY is a new nightclub destination that offers locals and visitors an experience like no other.

Across its 3 floors, it offers the most Instagrammable backdrops around every corner. With suspended Chinese lanterns, floating staircases, colour-changing blossom trees and festoon lighting straight out of the Love Island villa, it’s set to turn some heads.

With room for up to 1,300 guests, it promises to deliver the hottest nightclub experience

This new venue will bring at least 45 hospitality jobs to the capital – as well as a troupe of celebrity guests. The likes of Radio 1 DJ Danny Howard and Max Denham are due to appear in STORY’s first weeks, alongside a whole host of Love Island stars, including Tommy Fury, Kem Cetinay and Curtis Pritchard. Launch tickets are available at storynightclub.co.uk – starting at £5 for standard entry, and £10 for VIP.

With room for up to 1,300 guests, it promises to deliver the hottest nightclub experience, right in the heart of the city, “STORY is for those after a more unique nightclub experience. If you enjoy listening to the best DJs and want to party in the most attractive environment possible, it’s the place to go”, says Managing Director, Jonny Griffiths.

He adds, “After all, every picture tells a story, and every night out has a good story to tell! It’s stunning inside and out, and it’s set to take Cardiff by storm – I hope people are ready for what’s to come”.

After its grand opening, STORY will be a destination for all occasions, opening its doors from 10pm to 4am every Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday; with special events happening round-the-clock in between. The biggest nights in the city, ‘Bump and Grind’, ‘Quidz’, ‘Propaganda’ and ‘Smack’, have also re-homed to STORY – meaning uni-goers can expect nothing but the best discounts on Cardiff’s hottest nights out. What’s more, the unique venue will be host to the wildest ‘Level 4’ rooftop parties in the city!

Keep an eye on the official STORY Facebook page to find out what’s on around its opening weekend and beyond.
