A Flintshire man has been jailed for 16 years for sexually assaulting three girls.
Adam Griffiths, of no fixed abode, carried out the offences over a seven-year period.
Appearing at Mold Crown Court today, Monday, February 17th, he was jailed after being found guilty by a jury at Mold Crown Court in January.
He was handed three consecutive sentences totalling 16 years in prison, as well as a year of additional licence.
He will be registered as a sex offender indefinitely and was issued restraining orders to protect the victims and their families for the next 10 years.
He was also made the subject of a sexual harm prevention order.
Investigating officer DC Ben Franklin said: “All three victims and their families have been incredibly brave during the entirety of investigation, and I commend each one for their courage in speaking out and reporting Griffiths to us.
“They have all been through a horrific experience and I hope they have the reassurance that Griffiths can no longer hurt them, or anybody else.
“This outcome today reflects our commitment to bringing sexual offenders to justice and ensuring that victims and children are heard and protected.
“I hope this case will encourage others who have been subject to sexual abuse to come forward and serves as a reminder to any offenders of these despicable crimes that they will face the consequences of their actions – no matter how and when sexual abuse occurred.”
