Flotek Group continues its growth trajectory with the acquisition of IT & Cyber provider Colbek Systems Ltd, solidifying its presence in the Midlands and paving the way for future expansion.

Flotek Group, a leading Managed IT and Communications service provider, is thrilled to announce the successful acquisition of Colbek Systems Ltd, an established IT Managed services company operating in the Midlands region since 1987. This acquisition represents Flotek’s 12th successful acquisition in less than two years, underscoring the company’s commitment to strategic growth and regional expansion.

Flotek Group has rapidly grown since its inception, driven by a clear vision to simplify IT and communications for businesses across the UK. The acquisition of Colbek Systems Ltd is another step towards expanding its footprint across the UK.

“Welcoming Colbek Systems Ltd into the Flotek Group is an exciting step forward for us,” said Jay Ball, CEO of Flotek Group. “This acquisition not only enhances our service offerings in IT support and cybersecurity but also strengthens our regional presence in the Midlands.”

Colbek Systems Ltd, owned by Richard Przybek, has been a trusted name in IT services for over three decades, offering a wide range of solutions including server and PC installation, cybersecurity, and cloud services. Their expertise in both Microsoft and Google G Suite platforms adds a valuable dimension to Flotek’s portfolio, particularly in the area of Google cloud solutions.

Flotek Group is pleased to confirm that it will retain the entire Colbek Systems Ltd team, ensuring continuity for existing clients and preserving the high standards of service that Colbek has long been known for.

As Flotek looks to the future, the company remains focused on identifying further acquisition opportunities throughout the UK, with a specific emphasis on expanding into the Bristol region. This proactive approach reflects Flotek’s dedication to broadening its service offerings and reaching more businesses in need of reliable IT support and cybersecurity solutions.

Flotek Group extends its appreciation to GS Verde Group for their expert advisory support during this acquisition. “We’re grateful to GS Verde for their guidance and professionalism throughout this process. Their support was instrumental in achieving this successful outcome,” added Jay Ball.
