Glamorgan take on Kent in the Vitality Blast on Sunday 29th July and there will be even more style and performance on display than usual.

The Aston Martin Owners Club and Aston Martin Bristol will be displaying a fabulous selection of classic and new model Aston Martin’s for fans attending the match to enjoy.  The cars will be on display on the back lawn and all fans attending the match are welcome to come and see these fantastic machines and meet their owners.

Aston Martin are partners of Glamorgan Cricket and Cricket Wales and the team proudly wear the famous wings on the collars of the one day and Specsavers County Championship shirts every time they take the field. The Cricket Wales boys and girls age grade teams also go into battle with a bespoke ‘Aston Martin supporting Welsh Cricket logo’ on the front of their national shirts.

The new Aston Martin DBX SUV will be manufactured at St. Athan with the first model rolling off the production line at the end of 2019.  When fully up to speed the plant will produce more than 7000 vehicles a year and employ around 600 staff.

To represent the latest generation of Aston Martins the new Vantage and DB11 Volante will be in residence.  At the heart of the Vantage is a 4.0 litre twin-turbo charged V8 engine delivering 0-62 mph in 3.6 seconds and a top speed of 195 mph.

The DB11 Volante is one of the most beautiful cars in the World and we’re hoping for some Welsh sunshine so our fans can view this ultimate convertible in all its glory. If you’re tempted then the team from Aston Martin Bristol will be there to answer your questions.

Glamorgan are expecting around 20 classic vehicles including a DB9, Vantage Roadster, DB6 and many more. AMOC is one of the oldest and largest car enthusiast clubs in the World. Aston Martin has crafted around 83,000 vehicles in their illustrious history and it’s an amazing statistic that 95% of those vehicles are still in existence.

Everybody with a match ticket will enjoy free access to the Aston Martin display.
