Leading divorce lawyer becomes Gamlins Law director

A top divorce lawyer has been appointed a director at North Wales’ leading law firm.

Rachel Wynn Jones takes on the role at Gamlins Law after joining the firm last year to head up its Matrimonial department.

Rachel, who qualified as a solicitor in 1995, has previously worked for some of North Wales and Cheshire’s leading law firms.

For the past 20 years, Rachel has specialised in divorce, relationship breakdown and the associated financial consequences with a strong background working within the farming community.

She also prepares pre-nuptial agreements for clients to protect against the financial uncertainty that can occur when a marriage breaks down.

Rachel, a Welsh speaker, is a member of Resolution and a trained collaborative lawyer, giving clients an alternative to the traditional court process if they prefer.

Ron Davison, Managing Director of Gamlins Law, said: “I am delighted that Rachel is joining the board of directors at Gamlins Law.

“She is widely recognised by clients and her peers as one of the foremost matrimonial lawyers in the region.

“I am also proud that Rachel becomes the fourth female director at the firm. We are committed to creating opportunities for career progression for our people at all levels of the business.”

Rachel said: “I am delighted to become a director of Gamlins Law and look forward to playing a senior role in the continual growth of both the matrimonial department and the firm as a whole.”

Gamlins Law is celebrating its 130th anniversary this year. It has offices in Rhyl, Abergele, Denbigh, Holywell, Ruthin and Mold.
