Continuing Milford Waterfront’s annual programme of great value events this summer, the popular Street Food Festival will be back for the third year, after a necessary hiatus due to the Covid pandemic.
In partnership with Street Food Warehouse, specialists in hosting food events around Wales and the South West, the event will take place from 5th to 7th August along Mackerel Quay, between Milford Marina and the waterway. Free to attend and open from 11am to 11pm over three days, the event will offer an epic weekend of mouth-watering food from local, regional and national talents in the street food arena.
There will be dishes and cuisines from all over the world to sample, with something for everyone from North African to Mexican, fresh local seafood and sweet treats, plus drinks and live music too.
The festival promises 20 of the country’s top street food traders, including authentic paella from The Spanish Buffet; wood-fired Neapolitan-style pizzas from Bare Bones Pizza; classic, oozing mac and cheese from Mac Man; Korean fried chicken, aromatic Thai curries and other pan-Asian favourites from Canoodle; and melt-in-the-mouth halloumi fries from Clark’s Kitchen. All allergies and dietary requirements are catered for with dairy and gluten free options, plus vegetarian and vegan treats available too. To wash down all the good food, the team from Freedom Brewery will be serving refreshing craft beers, while the Pop Up Bar Hire Co will be serving other refreshments from soft drinks to prosecco and a selection of summery cocktails.
The Street Food Festival is free to attend, but tickets must be booked online in advance. Table reservations for up to six people are available to book for peak times, while queue jump and pre-booked VIP passes also guarantee discounts and other benefits.
