New recruits on the agenda for Newport-based accountants

Accountancy and tax expert, Kilsby Williams, has appointed two new members to its business services team as it continues to grow.

Kirsty Jenkins and Bethan James have joined the company as business services manager and payroll assistant.

Kirsty has been working in the industry for four years and was previously employed as an accounts and audit senior at a medium-sized practice. In her new role she will be responsible for accounts and audit work, as well as looking after a client portfolio.

Kirsty said: “I jumped at the chance to work with Kilsby Williams, it was a great opportunity to join a well-established firm with variety of clients. I’m looking forward to gaining valuable experience and progressing my career with the company.”

Bethan joins the company straight from Swansea University and was drawn to Kilsby Williams by the excellent qualifications and on-the-job training that the company offers. In her role Bethan will be responsible for processing weekly and monthly payrolls, pension uploads, administration and HMRC uploads.

Bethan said: “I was attracted to a career in payroll because I really enjoy working with numbers. I hope that working for Kilsby I will learn a lot, gain further qualifications, and generally progress my career.”

Simon Tee, managing partner at Kilsby Williams, said:

“Working with such a diverse array of clients, it’s important that our business services team runs efficiently and smoothly. I’m pleased to welcome Kirsty and Bethan to Kilsby and am confident that they will make a welcome addition to our excellent team.”
