New Season at Swansea Grand Brings Blockbusters, Ballet and Big Laughs

Swansea Grand Theatre’s Spring Summer season will put a pep in your step and make the longer days even brighter. There are lots of different flavours of fantastic performances to suit all tastes.

For the little budding princes and princesses there’s The Worst Princess, Bing’s Birthday and Milkshake! Live on Holiday.

To celebrate the 40th anniversary of Les Misréables, the best of local talent will star in the amateur premiere of the musical and the hugely popular, Menopause the Musical 2-Cruising Through Menopause, sails back into the theatre.

Drama fans will find themselves Living the Life of Riley, a heart warming and heart breaking play and with jump scares galore, The Haunting of Blaine Manor, will keep audiences on their edge of their seats.

Outstanding opera is on the menu with the Ukrainian Opera and Ballet Theatre Kyiv with performances of one of the most romantic operas ever written, La Bohème, and the opulent Madama Butterfly.  Both operas are sung in Italian with English surtitles.

Trip the light fantastic with a range of dance shows from The Ultimate Street Dance Show, to Strictly’s Kai Widdrington and the nation’s favourite dancing duo, Anton & Giovanni.

There’s music galore, including folk, contemporary and more. Seven Drunken Nights is back and for Swifties there’s Taylormania. The Blondie Experience, ELO Again and The Bon Jovi Experience will take you back in time.

ADHD Unmasked with Hester Grainger is for anyone diagnosed or not, or those who want to learn more about ADHD. A Grand Theatre first for all the family,  Megaslam Wrestling; lots of booing and cheering guaranteed.
