    Newtown Christmas market to encourage people to shop local

    Put up your trees and bring your cheer because Christmas in Newtown is back as Focus Newtown Enterprise Hub announces its second Christmas Market after a successful run last year, which saw over 400 people shop and support local businesses.

    Situated on the 3rd floor of the iconic Pryce Jones Building, the Christmas Market will take place on 4th December between 11:00-17:00, and along with plenty of stalls there will be fun for the whole family including a choir singing all the festive hits, a Santa’s grotto for that perfect photo opportunity, wreath making opportunities, food and drink and so much more. 

    Hub Manager, Holly Jones, said: 

    “We’re so excited to bring back the Christmas Market this December for a second year. It’s great to be working with and supporting local, independent businesses again, and we can’t wait to see the fantastic products they’ll have on display. Many of the businesses joining us have utilised the Hub over the years for business advice, co-working, networking and support, and it’s great to be able to showcase them in the local area.

    “The Hub will be welcoming businesses including MAC Chocolates with their incredible tasty treats, Nevesta Crafts and Lae Jewellery with their beautiful handmade items, and Gasm Drinks with their popular mix of sloe gin and champagne. That’s just a sneak peek of what’s in store and we’re really looking forward to welcoming everyone back as we get in the festive spirit!”
