COLEG Cambria will host a series of virtual open events for prospective students over 10 days in March.
Staff and lecturers from across the north east Wales college will be on hand to answer questions on A Levels, full time courses, apprenticeships, degrees and more.
The 5pm-8pm weekday sessions – which run from March 8 to March 18 – are taking place online due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
However, tutors from a wide range of subjects including Business, Animal Care, Hospitality, Health, Engineering, Tourism and Sport are available to support participants and offer guidance.
Coleg Cambria Principal Sue Price said: “Our open events are a highlight of the calendar, an opportunity to find out more about the many courses we have on offer at the college.
“We would love to welcome prospective students and their families face to face, but until it is safe to do so we will continue holding these events online.
“Others we have held during the pandemic have been well-attended; for some it is easier to join us via the comfort of their sofa, so we capitalise on the cutting-edge technology we have here to ensure they experience the best of Cambria.
“There are virtual tours and presentations via our website and social media, where we showcase the incredible facilities at our sites in Deeside, Wrexham, Northop and Llysfasi, and are able to give people a taste of the advances we have made in past years.
“We hope to see a positive response and look forward to welcoming you all in March.”
To register for the free events, visit www.cambria.ac.uk/marchevents and click on the subject you are interested in studying, and the college site you would like to attend.
You will be emailed a link in advance, and don’t worry if you miss the 5pm start as staff will be on hand via video chat until 8pm to answer any questions you may have.
