Fifteen gardens of all types and sizes will be open to the public in the ancient town of Montgomery on Saturday, June from 2pm to 5.30pm.

The gardens tour will feature new, restored and well-established gardens. There are also Japanese and cottage gardens, gardens with lovely views and others with vegetables, flowers and even a wildlife area.

Hosts will serve delicious homemade teas with musical entertainment provided. Entry leaflets, at £2, can be purchased from Bunners and the Flower Shop in Montgomery. Children are welcome if accompanied by an adult.

All proceeds will go to the Town Hall Restoration Fund.
