Orchard Entertainment, the live music arm of the Orchard Media and Events Group triumphed once again in the UK Live Music Industry Awards, recognition as Regional Promoter of the Year for the third time in six years for the Cardiff based outfit.
The Awards were made at a gala event at London’s Radisson Blu Portman Hotel before a national music industry audience on October 11. The Awards followed the Live UK annual conference and networking event, in which Orchard director Pablo Janczur appeared on a panel.
Pablo said:“It’s terrific to win this award for the third time, and shows what can be achieved in Wales. We have great support from the likes of Welsh Government, local authorities and venues in Wales, giving local people access to some of the country’s leading performers. I have a terrific team working with me in Entertainment and across the Group at Orchard, and they all share in this award.”
Orchard first won the Regional Promoter accolade in 2013, and have since gone on to promote artists such as Dionne Warwick, Sir Elton John, Sir Tom Jones, Paul Weller, Noel Gallagher, Pete Tong, George Ezra, Paloma Faith, Pete Tong, and Catfish and the Bottlemen in a range of venues from small clubs to castles and stadia.

Now in its ninth year, the Awards are the only event to recognise business people who drive the country’s contemporary live music industry, rewarding excellence and talent among promoters, venue operators, festival organisers and agents, through to artiste managers, tour managers, show producers, brand impact and record label partnerships.
