Plantasia Tropical Zoo in Swansea is hosting a range of fun family activities for visitors of all ages over the Easter holidays.

At Plantasia, guests enter the indoor Tropical Zoo by stepping through a giant tree into a real rainforest. From crawling through the undergrowth to climbing high in the canopies, visitors can explore the zoo and come face to face with all manner of animals and creepy crawlies, from pythons and tarantulas to parrots.

As part of the zoo’s Easter activities, guests can  get more acquainted with the animals, with the Zoo’s VIP Animal Encounters handling experiences. The VIP package gives guests the opportunity to ask questions to the zookeepers while exploring the immersive, interactive family-friendly attraction.

On Easter Sunday, 9th April, Plantasia is also hosting a special Easter Egg-stravaganza, featuring a variety of Easter-themed activities for guests to enjoy.

Children will be able to count the animal eggs on the Bunny Tracks trail, become their favourite animals with face painting fun, and grow their own sunflowers with pollinator seeds, supplied by Plantasia while stocks last. Visitors might also have the opportunity to meet a special guest, as the Easter Bunny hops down to make a special appearance at the Tropical Zoo.

Plantasia’s latest attraction, Jungle Escape, is also open throughout the Easter holiday. This hour-long experience sees players solving puzzles to escape the rainforest in the world’s largest escape game. The new attraction is earning rave reviews from guests – will you brave the dangers of the jungle?

Commenting on all the zoo’s Easter-themed activities, General Manager Anthony Williams said:

“We’re always looking to bolster the experiences we offer to guests here at Plantasia Tropical Zoo. Especially over the school holidays, it’s important to us that we host a range of affordable and accessible activities to guests and visitors of all ages. We can’t wait to welcome visitors to all our Easter activities!”
