    Popular Cardiff event showcasing local traders set to return this weekend

    The first Bone Yard Bazaar was a roaring success

    Following a smash-hit sell out at the inaugural event last month, the Bone Yard Bazaar will return to Canton’s The Bone Yard this weekend, with a bumper selection of traders on offer.

    Created by Helen Gorman from TwentySix in partnership with Martyn Watkins of Richkin’s Woodcraft (both permanent residents at The Bone Yard), the Bone Yard Bazaar encompasses arts & crafts stalls, street food traders, freshly baked treats and more.

    Brunch at Twenty Six

    The full foodie trader list for this Saturday 1at April includes:

    • TOAST – Cult brunches & coffee from permanent Bone Yard residents, TwentySix
    • RINGO’S DIRTY DINER – ‘Banging hotdogs, beaut burgers and sexy sides’
    • BAO SELECTA – Fluffy bao buns and rice bowls
    • STRAIGHT OUTTA CANTON – Food touched by smoke, fire and Punjab
    • MINTO’S PATISSERIE – Winner of Bake Off: The Professionals 2021
    • THE TEENY TINY PANCAKE CO – Inspired by the poffertjes of The Netherlands
    • GREEN DOOR BAKERY – Homemade cakes and bakes
    • THE TREAT LIFE BAKE SHOP – Cakes, cupcakes, brownies, blondies
    • FLOWERHORN BREWERY – Canton’s local microbrewery
    • PLUS, FLOWERHORN DOG BAKERY – Dog treats made with spent brewery grain

    And the Arts & Crafts line-up includes:

    • RICHKINS WOODCRAFT & HANDMADE – Handmade gifts and wooden homewares
    • PEGGY’S POTS – Cardiff’s only paint your own pottery studio
    • MAKE LOVE NOT LANDFILL – Local artist with a passion for up-cycling
    • WILDFLOWER CLAY – Handmade earrings
    • PIPER & NANCY – Handmade gifts
    • KNITTY KNUTTY – Unique, cosy and handmade knits
    • HEATH AND SEA – Small batch, wheel thrown ceramics.
    • LITTLE EMPIRE VINTAGE – Vintage clothing and apparel
    • LLINOGEE – Lino & digital prints
    • THOBY MUSIC – Local musician
    • SAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE – Eco recycled fashion
    • CANHWYLLAU CANNA CANDLES – Natural soy wax candles

    The second Bone Yard Bazaar on April 1st starts from midday and runs until 9pm (but traders may sell out throughout the day). For more information and updates from the Bone Yard Bazaar on the 1st April, follow @Boneyard_Bazaar on Instagram.

    The Bone Yard Bazaar is a monthly event which takes place at The Bone Yard, also home to a new venue called TwentySix. Offering all-day coffee from 8am Wednesday to Sunday, the venue plays host to a regular rotation of street food traders who take over the kitchen from 3 – 10pm, every Thursday to Sunday. Diners can get cosy in TwentySix’s covered and heated outdoor dining space, whilst enjoying some street food from some of the best local traders, and drinks from the venue’s fully stocked bar. The April street food line-up at TwentySix has now been confirmed as follows:

    • March 30th – April 2nd: Bao Selecta
    • April 6th – 9th: El Cabron Tacos
    • April 13th – 16th: Queen Pepiada (Venezuelan Arepas)
    • April 20th – 23rd: Kapow Ribs
    • April 27th – 30th: Char (Woodfired Pizza)
