Proud Mary Cardiff

This weekend, Proud Mary Cardiff celebrated one year since it threw open its doors on St Mary’s Street following a £1.2million transformation by operators REKOM.

Since 29th October 2022, the venue has sold a staggering 1.5m drinks, 194,205 photos have been taken on the light booth and Mary’s Wheel of Fortune, where guests can win a number of prizes such as a bottle of spirit, has been spun 7,785 times.

Paloma De Souza, Manager of Proud Mary Cardiff commented: “It’s been amazing to welcome everyone to Proud Mary Cardiff over the past 365 days – we’ve served both visitors and locals alike and have loved getting to know what makes the community in Cardiff tick. We’d like to extend a thank you to all of those that have visited us during this time and look forward to welcoming more new faces in the coming years!”

Proud Mary Cardiff prides itself on offering a traditional pub with a modern ‘party’ twist, where you are guaranteed a warm and friendly welcome. Guests can expect live music at weekends, plenty of screens to watch live sport on, an extensive drinks menu and freshly prepared food.

Proud Mary Cardiff was the first Proud Mary Pub in the UK, with Proud Mary Swansea opening last month. Other locations include Denmark, Finland and Norway.

Operating over two floors, Proud Mary Cardiff has a capacity of 950 and is open from 12 noon daily (closing 2am Sunday to Thursday and 3am Friday and Saturday).
