As the country prepares to come out of the latest lockdown, the group which runs the Marco Pierre White (MPW) chain of restaurants has added a new dish to its menus which they hope will increase the appeal to dine out once doors start to reopen again.
Available at the groups Steakhouse, New York Italian, Chophouse and Bardolino brands, the new left-handed beef burger is set to wow diners up and down the country.
Lia L’Proof, Food Procurement Director of Outlandish Menus at Black and White Hospitality, was said to be thrilled by the prospect of the country’s diners tucking into the new burger that’s been overseen by someone who was the youngest ever chef to attain three Michelin stars.
Lia said: “During the lockdown, we’ve undertaken a wealth of research into menu development and interestingly, a high number of people mentioned they’d like to see more dishes that would be easier to eat for left-handed people.
“We like to make all our menus as inclusive as possible. Whether it’s vegan, vegetarian or more meat-based, we like to include as broad a range of dishes as possible and this left-handed beef burger is all part of this strategy.”
Paying homage to some of the world’s best-known left-handers, the new burger, that will be available from 12 April, will come in a range of different styles and includes The Winston Churchill, The Albert Einstein, The Martina Navratilova and The Prince William.
Lia added: “Guests will be licking their lips in anticipation of this new range of burgers and we can’t wait to get our doors open so they can tuck in and enjoy what will no doubt be a fantastic meal.”
