    Cardiff-based recruitment agency, RhinoRecruitment.com, has this week announced its expansion into the IT division, launching Rhino IT with sector specialist, Mo Alamgir.

    RhinoRecruitment.com has been servicing the recruitment industry for over 15 years and the brand will now boast a dedicated IT department in its head office at The Maltings, Cardiff, placing IT professionals with businesses across the country.

    This new venture marks the next step in the company’s growth plans, having made numerous business acquisitions and additions to its senior management team in the last 12 months.

    In the first phase, Rhino IT will cater to all aspects of the IT industry, however, a strong focus will be placed on emerging roles in Information Technology, focussing on recruiting in the following areas:

    • Software Development
    • Testing
    • Cyber Security
    • Project Delivery
    • Cloud Infrastructure and DevOps

    Co-owner, Mo Alamgir, says;

    “After building a very powerful and successful career in IT Recruitment it was only natural that I would eventually focus my expertise and personal network into my own recruitment consultancy. But, partnering with RhinoRecruitment.com has meant I can be a part of something bigger, making use of their intelligent back-office systems, Labour Managers, the national brand value and of course the Rhino team’s experience and knowledge of running a successful, national recruitment firm.”

    While this business is very much in the start-up phase, Mo and the team have combated the traditional hurdles most new companies experience, starting its first month of trading at an advantage.

    Having already formed partnerships and built talent pools in Wales, the Midlands, the North West and Scotland, Rhino IT has launched with a flying start and is looking for a number of skilled resourcers to join its team and grow the consultancy further.

    Andrew Roberts, Director of Rhino IT, RhinoRecruitment.com and CEO of Rhino Group Holdings, says:

    ‘Our first month in IT recruitment has been a successful one, with the consultancy performing strongly. While in a competitive market, Rhino IT seems to be offering something many of the other agencies out there are not; intelligent recruitment solutions managed by high calibre consultants that understand the industry inside out. We anticipate a further four hires in the coming months and look forward to taking Rhino IT to the next level”.
