Specialist personal injury law firm Novum Law has opened a brand-new office in Cardiff, a sign of the firm’s strong growth and plans for expansion in the coming years.

[aoa id=”1″]Growing demand for its serious personal injury compensation claim services and asbestos-related disease expertise in the South of England and Wales has prompted the business’ strategic move to the Welsh capital. Unlike the numerous general law firms in the area, Novum Law is a specialist personal injury law firm.[/aoa]

Located at Brunel House, 2 Fitzalan Road, the city centre office will be led by Associate Legal Director Phill Gower, who joins Novum Law from Emsleys Solicitors, working alongside specialist asbestos disease solicitor Rebecca Ryan.

Phill has over 25 years’ experience in the field of serious personal injury and asbestos-related diseases. He has secured millions of pounds worth of damages for people who’ve been seriously injured or become critically ill with diseases such as mesothelioma and lung cancer, due to the negligence of others.

He is one of only a handful of UK lawyers involved in pursuing claims for damages for those who have been diagnosed with diseases such as ovarian cancer and mesothelioma, due to the use of consumer products, such as talcum powder, that are contaminated with asbestos. Phill is also an invited member at the Cross-Party Group on asbestos within the National Assembly for Wales.

Finance director of Novum Law Tim Robinson said:

“The launch of our new office in Cardiff is a hugely exciting development for us marking our first move into Wales as we continue full steam ahead with our ambitious growth plans.

“We know there is big demand for our specialist claimant serious personal injury and asbestos-related disease services throughout Wales. Cardiff is a modern, dynamic and vibrant city and a strategically important market for us to establish a strong presence in to ensure as many people as possible have access to our specialist legal advice and representation. As we expand, we plan to employ more people from the local community in the coming years.”

Phill Gower added: “Novum Law is committed to helping and supporting people who’ve suffered serious injuries or illness through no fault of their own. We’re proud to be launching in Cardiff and are looking forward to offering the highest level of legal expertise to ensure those who’ve been harmed, and their families get the expert advice, support and the maximum compensation they deserve.”

Novum Law has grown rapidly since it was established in 2013 and now has three key regional offices in the South West of England including: Bristol, Swindon and Salisbury as well as offices throughout the South of England in: Southampton, Plymouth and the Isle of Wight. Its new specialist practice in Cardiff brings the total number of offices to seven with more plans for further expansion in the next 1-2 years.
