Since 2000, the Cardiff headquartered firm now employs more than 45 people globally, and has generated more than £270m in revenue. Recruit 121 has moved up in the world in terms of location too – shifting recently to the 18th floor from floor 14 of Cardiff’s iconic Capital Tower.

The specialist recruiter will grow its internal delivery teams with 60 new roles over the next four years, enhancing its high calibre services to household names such as BMW, Nestle, Ralph Lauren and Bosch.

The Recruit 121 Group has a number of business units, but as a significant exporter of services to more than 40 countries, its technology arm is experiencing significant demand and is set to continue.

Recruit 121 continues to be a leading employer, investing in staff development and offering a dedicated internal training academy. Che Hookings, Group CEO at Recruit 121 said: “Delivering premium quality services requires working with outstanding people and we attract and retain them by providing an exceptional working environment and employee-centric, family-friendly policies.

“It’s important to me and the leadership team that we continue to build a highly collaborative working environment and culture. We are proud of our 4.8/5 Glassdoor rating and the fact 96% of our team would recommend us as a great place to work. As Recruit 121 Group sets out on the next phase of our expansion, I’m as excited about growing our team of talented professionals as I am with supporting our clients”.

The Welsh Government were keen to support a high technology enterprise bringing revenues from overseas into Wales, providing £250,000 worth of funding to support growth.

Che Hookings continued: “Over the last 19 years, Recruit 121 has progressed from strength to strength and we have recruited a stellar team.  We look to significantly expand that team to further our offering.

“Fortunately for us, our sector and geographical spread offer some mitigation from the effects of the current political climate. While no one can ever plan for everything, we make sure our eggs aren’t all in one basket.

“We’re really excited to see what the next few years hold and with expansion plans in place, it’s a pivotal time for the company as we face new and exciting challenges, which provide additional opportunities for our team.”
