St David’s Dewi Sant Cardiff is hosting a brand-new event for South Wales students this month, with the chance to win thousands of pounds worth of prizes plus a host of exclusive discounts and offers.

Big Student Winners Week, from Monday September 25, will be a week-long celebration at St David’s Cardiff to welcome new and returning students with fun, instant-win games like plinko alongside a centre-wide scavenger hunt. Students will be invited on a mission to crack the code using clues hidden around the centre to win prizes worth thousands of pounds including:

    • A Morphe make-up bundle including brushes, palettes, and primers
    • £200 retailer gift cards for the likes of Schuh, H&M, and John Lewis
    • Mini golf packages at Treetop Adventure Golf
    • £200 to spend at Slim Chickens
    • Cocktail making experiences at Friday’s
    • Fragrance sets from Penhaligon’s and The Perfume Shop
    • And many more

The centre’s brands will also have exclusive offers for students including discounts at Jack and Jones, Timberland, Levi’s, The North Face, and Vans to name a few. Foodie students can also enjoy tasty deals at Shake Shack, Ivy Asia, Wagamama, and more.

Helen Morgan, Centre Director at St David’s Dewi Sant, said: “St David’s is the ultimate student destination and September is one of the busiest times in the city, with students arriving and returning creating a real buzz throughout Cardiff. We’re excited to host our biggest student event since 2019, with some incredible prizes and discounts on offer – and what’s more, with so many chances to win the odds are pretty spectacular.

“Our previous student events were incredibly well-received, attracting thousands of students  We’ve relaunched our student event with a bang by making it seven times bigger. By running throughout an entire week rather than just one night only, there’s no excuse to miss it.”

The Big Student Winners Week scavenger hunt will be hosted at least twice a day from Monday September 25 to Sunday October 1.  Times will be announced via the St David’s social channels.
