Officers then proceeded to take Gwyther back to his home address where he stated, “I have been caught red handed” Within the address over 700 grams of cocaine was located upstairs in his bedroom along with £8,000 found under his bed and £900 in his wallet.

The amount of cash and cocaine showed Gywther was playing a significant role in the supply of Class A drugs.

Detective Sergeant Thomas Richardson said:“We caught Gwyther red-handed when we arrested him outside his house. This amount of cocaine or any drug has no place in our communities. He’ll now have time to reflect on his decisions in prison, which is where anybody who deals drugs belongs”.

Gwyther was sentenced to the following, Possession with intent to supply class A drugs (Cocaine), being concerned in the supply of cocaine and possession of criminal property.
