Leading UK Refrigeration, Air Conditioning, and Heat Pump (RACHP) wholesaler, TF Solutions, part of Travis Perkins plc, officially opened its doors in Cardiff on the 3rd of March 2025, marking its first branch in Wales. The new branch represents a significant investment in the local economy, bringing new jobs, enhanced customer choice, and a commitment to superior service.

Located at Units 3A and 3B, Stuart Close, Penarth Road, CF11 8QF, the 11,500 square foot facility is set to become a cornerstone for RACHP professionals throughout Cardiff and the surrounding region. With a sizeable investment, including branch setup and initial stock, TF Solutions demonstrates its support for local businesses, providing unmatched access to essential products and support.

Leading the charge is Branch Manager Nick Coates, a Swansea native with 35 years of experience in the merchant trade industry. Nick is excited to be transitioning into the cooling sector and to bring TF Solutions’ customer-focused approach to Cardiff. “I’m incredibly enthusiastic about what we can achieve here,” says Nick. “This is a fantastic opportunity to create a hub for RACHP professionals in Cardiff and the surrounding area, offering them the best possible service and product availability.”

The new branch offers a comprehensive range of products from leading suppliers, including Samsung, Fujitsu, and Mitsubishi Electric, meaning customers can find exactly what they need when they need it.

“We aim to be the go-to destination for RACHP professionals in Cardiff by putting people at the heart of everything we do,” Nick explains. “We’re building a team of exceptional individuals who not only possess the necessary knowledge and experience but also share our passion for delivering outstanding service and customer experiences.”
