There is something for everyone in Snowdonia during National Parks Week

From guided walks to live music there is something for everyone here in Snowdonia during National Parks Week.

The aim of the week is to encourage more people to make use of our National Parks. Snowdonia attracts thousands of annual visitors to roam our trails and peaks but National Parks Week will provide an opportunity to learn more about Snowdonia’s special qualities and the diversity we have to offer.

This year, celebrations run from Sunday 22nd July to Sunday 29th July and a number of events have been organised to coincide with the week.

These are some of the events organised by the National Park Authority:

July 21st, 10.30a.m.-12.30p.m. Go Wild at Yr Ysgwrn’s Nature Club! Join us on our weekly stomp around Yr Ysgwrn exploring our fantastic habitats of plants and wildlife. Suitable for 7-12 year olds. Remember to wear suitable footwear and clothes that you don’t mind getting messy!

July 25th, 11.00a.m.-4.00p.m. Arts and Crafts at Yr Ysgwrn. Come along to Yr Ysgwrn and join our environmental art sessions, inspired by the epic landscape that surrounds us! Please bring an adult who can help you, a picnic if you intend to stay for a while and wear clothes for getting messy!

July 28th, 10.30a.m.-12.30p.m. Go Wild at Yr Ysgwrn’s Nature Club!  Same details as above.
