The newest addition to the Cardiff Bay food and drink scene is soon to fling open its doors. The first city to have a second Cosy Club, the Cardiff Bay restaurant will open on Wednesday 12th June, creating 40 jobs for local people.

Quirky, eccentric and playful with a nautical twist, Cosy Club Cardiff Bay will offer informal casual dining, drinking and lounging in a unique and family friendly environment. Think mansion splendour meets village hall eccentricity.

Amber Wood, Managing Director for The Cosy Club brand, says: “At Cosy Club, we serve up a sense of being somewhere special with a hint of nostalgia. From a lazy breakfast to family lunch or a night out in your glad rags, we’re set apart by the character of our team, elegance of our design and quality of our food and drink.

“Cardiff is the first city that we have decided to open up a second Cosy Club, and this is all thanks to our fantastic success at St David’s Shopping Centre. Cardiff Bay is a prime location and we can’t wait to open up and welcome the community in to enjoy some delicious food and quirky style.”

Mermaid Quay Centre Manager Justin Patel added: “We are delighted to be welcoming Cosy Club to Mermaid Quay – it will be a great addition to the great range of restaurants, cafes and bars on offer at the centre.  Cosy Club is opening in a great location, right on Tacoma Square and close to the waterfront, and we are sure that visitors will love it.”

Cosy Club’s menu majors on comfort food classics throughout the day, also offering extensive brunch, gluten free and vegan menus and a delicious selection of tapas. As well as the delicious food, Cosy Club isn’t short of some truly scrumptious cocktails and tipples for all tastes!

Cosy Club offers the joys of relaxed dining, drinking and lounging in a fabulous, welcoming setting.

Guests will be able to enjoy various deals throughout the week – including Breakfast Club: Monday – Friday, 9am until 11:30am – order any brunch item and any size hot drink for £8.25, Teatime Tipple: Enjoy any two cocktails for just £9.95 between 4pm-8pm Sunday-Thursday, Marvellous Mondays: enjoy a free drink with any main meal from 5pm and Tremendous Tuesdays: choose any three tapas dishes and a glass of wine (after 5pm) for £13.95.

Guests can also enjoy a free pot of tea every Wednesday between 10-11am in Cosy Club’s Free Teas for those in need, that bids to help fight loneliness.
