Marks & Spencer has today announced it will be opening the doors to a new Food store in Mumbles, on Wednesday 22 January at 10am.

Located on Newton Road, the store will be led by Store Manager, Hannah Jenkins, alongside her team of 40 colleagues. The M&S team will offer the community the very best service at Mumbles and have all been extensively trained in how to make every moment special for customers, drawing on M&S’s 136 years of serving the public.

To celebrate the opening, M&S Mumbles will be giving away exclusive Golden Tickets to the first 200 customers through the doors. The Golden Tickets will include offers for £5 and £25 ‘spend today’ vouchers, as well as one £200 Gift Card and two £100 Gift Cards. M&S’s very own Percy Pig will also be at the store to give customers an extra special welcome.

Store Manager, Hannah Jenkins, has worked at M&S for six years and said: “My team and I are really excited about our new store in Mumbles. Once open, we’ll be working hard to provide outstanding service for the community. Our new Food store will offer all the everyday essentials, as well as seasonal inspiration and innovation – perfect for the weekly family food shop or dinner for tonight. Customers will also be able to shop for M&S’s full Clothing & Home collections via M&S.com, using our Click & Collect service. Cutting the ribbon and welcoming customers in for the first time will be a great moment – we hope lots of local residents will pop down and join us.”

The new store will offer thousands of M&S’s quality and great value food products, perfect for the whole family. From dinner favourites – such as family-sized Detroit Pizzas, great for sharing, and M&S’s Rich Steak Lasagne – through to all the daily essentials. Offering the opportunity to try something new with family and friends, customers visiting the store will also be able to enjoy new additions to the Plant Kitchen range, including the first No Chicken Kiev, a soya based vegan Kievfilled with a deliciously vegan-friendly garlic sauce. The store will also offer some Welsh favourites like Cwtch Beer and Penderyn Whisky.

M&S Mumbles will offer the full range of M&S Clothing & Home products via its Click & Collect service. Customers can opt for next day pick up if they order online by 10pm the night before on M&S.com and the store will also offer hassle free returns. With 65 free car parking spaces, the store is ideal for convenient Clothing & Home collection.

The store will be located at Newton Road, Mumbles, SA3 4BD and will be open Monday – Saturday, 8am – 8pm, and on Sunday, 11am – 5pm.
