Ceredigion-based kefir producer, Chuckling Goat, has been selected as a contributor to the book Our Royal Baby, celebrating the birth of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s first child, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor.

The commemorative book has been produced by renowned publishing house, SJH Group and royal correspondent Robert Jobson. The book will be launched at The Ritz Hotel in London on Wednesday 4 September, with additional content about the baby’s christening.

Charting Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s journey from romance and engagement, through to marriage and new parenthood, this fully illustrated, beautifully designed hardback book heralds the arrival of the newest addition to the House of Windsor, and reflect on the current state of the British Royal Family and the place that it holds in the hearts of the nation.

A selection of British and international companies were chosen to appear in the book including Chuckling Goat, which earlier this year was selected by the Parliamentary Review as an example of best business practice in the UK in a challenging political and economic environment.

Chuckling Goat is also one of a small handful of companies to appear twice in the book, as it is also featured in the section dedicated to the christening. This will present pictures of the christening with an editorial feature dedicated to the special day.

Speaking about the inclusion in Our Royal Baby, Shann said: “Our Royal Baby is the perfect way to commemorate the birth of Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor and is sure to stay on coffee tables around the world for years to come. We are truly honoured to be a partner of the book and to be flying the flag for rural business in Wales.”

Our Royal Baby is written by the best-selling, award-winning author Robert Jobson, who has chronicled the Windsors for the past 30 years. Robert is the Royal Editor of the London

Evening Standard, as well as the leading royal contributor for major TV networks in the US, Australia and New Zealand.

Shann Jones and her husband discovered the benefits of live active kefir when they were looking for a solution to their little boy Benji’s eczema, and her husband Richard’s antibiotic-resistant MRSA infection.

With no previous business experience or financial funding, farming couple Shann and Richard Jones sold Rich’s motorcycle to buy bottles for their goats milk kefir, when they started their family business on their farmhouse kitchen table in 2014.

The couple began making kefir in their stone barn; today they offer a range of natural gut-health products including cutting-edge Microbiome Testing. Last year, the company scooped the Best New Dairy Drink in the World accolade for their goats milk kefir.

In 2020, Hay House will publish Shann Jones’ upcoming fourth book: How to Start a Business on Your Kitchen Table. Shann has also recently been invited to be a Parliamentary Review Member consulting on all major parliamentary motions.
