What Stores to remain open during lockdown

What Stores, along with a small number of other retailers have vowed to remain open during the Government lockdown.

The store sells household items in addition to other home and outdoor products, and will remain open to provide customers with essential items.

In a post on Facebook today, What Stores have said:

“Like many local businesses in this difficult time, we have decided to remain open in line with government advisement to continue providing household essentials to the customers that need them.

“Our staff have been fantastic and are working very hard to keep our shelves stocked and our customers served.”

They are asking customers to only visit to purchase essential items in-store and not to visit in groups of two or more. Customers should also stay 2 meters apart at all times.

However, they are advising customers not to bring in children unless in “exceptional circumstances where customers are key workers or unable to get childcare”.

The stores are also undergoing regular deep sanitising that may increase time at tills.

    What Stores added:

“We do not take this responsibility lightly and we’re doing everything we can to keep our customers and our colleagues safe, taking every measure possible to keep us healthy.”

Store opening times in Cardiff: 9 am till 6 pm Monday to Friday, 9 – 6 pm on Saturday and 10 am – 4pm on Sunday.

Store address: What Store, Willowbrook Drive, St Mellons. CF3 0SH
