The South Wales Business Awards is delighted to announce the winners of the 2022 South Wales Business Awards.

The South Wales Business Awards were held at the iconic Hilton Hotel in Cardiff on Friday 30th September and hosted by one of Welsh Television and Radio’s most popular presenters – Sara Edwards.

After an almost two and half year hiatus due to the pandemic, the South Wales Business Awards returned in spectacular fashion with a black-tie gala awards ceremony. Celebrating the very best of the South Wales business community.

    • Young Entrepreneur of the Year – Ella Jones – Ancora Equestrian Ltd

    • Retail & Tourism Business of the Year – Little Inspirations Day Nursery

    • South Wales Business of the Year 2022 – Mallows Bottling

Founder of the South Wales Business Awards – Wesley Skene said, “The last two years have been truly horrendous for businesses across Wales. However, Wales has shown that entrepreneurialism is at the core of its DNA. This year has once again seen record numbers of applications, and an incredibly difficult judging process for our independent panel. It’s staggering to see how well businesses have adapted to a post COVID world and the fearsome economic headwinds. The nominees are evolving and become stronger and more successful despite near impossible obstacles. Wales is primed to lead the way through the challenging months to come.”

The evening was also an opportunity to raise funds for nominated charity Dreams and Wishes. A charity that does such great work and is dedicated to helping seriously ill children by making their dreams and wishes come true. £700 was raised on the night.

The awards would like to take the time to thank its tremendous sponsors – Swansea Building Society, TSR Legal and Wales247.

Plans are already underway for the 2023 South Wales Business Awards. The one certainty that we have, is that the Welsh business community will once again rise to the challenge and show the world what true entrepreneurship is.
